As you can see, there is a strategic method in the order you apply for cards. I'd love to chat to make sure you are getting the right card for your lifestyle, spending habits, and travel goals! There are a lot of options out there, and it's important not to deviate from your overall strategy to maximize your earning potential.
Below are my favorite cards after the Chase Sapphire Preferred that I'd recommend. I appreciate, and thank you again for using my referral links. 😊
As always, keep in mind your 5/24 Status, so you don't miss out on any great Chase cards! To protect your status, I will often rotate between opening personal and business cards.
Business cards do not count against your 5/24 and are a great way to keep earning. You don't need an LLC to qualify - if you sell items on the Facebook Marketplace, babysit, or have any other method of earning money that isn't a W2 job, you qualify as a Sole Proprietorship! Ask and I'll be happy to walk you through this step-by-step. 😊 If you can meet the minimum spend - one or all three of the Chase Ink Business cards are my first choice above everything else! Transferrable currency is always > than hotel or airline specific miles.
Chase Hyatt Business Card: 60,000 Hyatt Points after spending $5k in 3 months. $199 annual fee, and gives 2 $50 hotel credits per year. (This card is worth it for at least the first year.)
Chase Hyatt Personal CC: 30,000 Hyatt Points after spending $3k in 3 months. This is a "keeper" card as it comes with 1 Free Night Certificate (FNC) on your card anniversary each year. I'll happily pay $95 for a 1 night certificate!
Chase Ink Cash or Unlimited: Great business cards with NO Annual Fee! Both have a SUB of 75,000 Chase UR points after spending $6,000 in 3 months!
Chase Ink Preferred: $95 Annual fee - SUB is 100,000 Chase UR points after spending $8k in 3 months.
Capital One Venture X: 75,000 Capital One Miles after spending $4k in 3 months. $395 Annual Fee. I love that Cap1 transfers to multiple airlines. The $395 fee balances itself out by giving you a $300 annual credit to use in their travel portal and 10k points each year on your anniversary.
Citi AA Business Card: 65,000 American Airline Miles after spending $4k in 4 months
